Fog Whip 2.0

It’s arrived: Day One of the new and improved Fog Whip. We’re re-branding and re-launching as we take on new clients and more ambitious projects. On the surface, that means a new logo, website and eye-catching visuals. But it’s actually a lot more than that.

We’ve spent the last 10 months thinking. Hard. We’ve spoken with clients and colleagues about what they need from a video production company. We’ve thought about how we want—and need—to work.

We’ve re-tooled the very bones of the company so that we can:

  • Be more transparent and collaborative than ever with our clients
  • Work with a wider network of talented creatives
  • Deliver better videos that work harder
  • Make the entire process more enjoyable for everyone

If you’re new to Fog Whip, or want to see what we’re all about, read on.

What does Fog Whip do?

We make cracking videos. Or, more specifically, we’re a B2B video production company. Every piece of content we produce is aimed at engaging a business audience and achieving business goals.

This B2B focus is particularly important in the early stages of planning and pre-production, as we can help shape a brief so that the videos we produce will do what you need them to. After all, it’s not enough to produce good-looking videos: they need to be the right videos for your audience, delivered via the right platforms. Targeting, context and channel are CRI-TI-CAL to performance.

We’re not alone in offering this B2B speciality, but here are a few things that we think make Fog Whip stand out:

A PR and marketing lens: Beautiful (or compelling) content is essential for effective marketing. But we know that content will fit into a specific campaign, with precise goals, for particular channels and audiences, under a brand with clearly defined values. All of those elements should be borne in mind from the start. This context helps us to create videos that work as hard as possible for your business, and deliver against your goals. And, perhaps most importantly, we’re only too aware that most videos need to be approved by a small army of people (we can help to make that process easier).

Caring for senior stakeholders: For many campaigns, the person appearing on-camera may be the ‘Big Boss’. You want them to look good and have a great time working with you on this. So you may be a little nervous about what their experience will be like, whether it’s the initial briefing call, the day of the shoot, or presenting the results to them. We can help with all of this, from co-ordination with their EA and booking cars to creating bespoke updates and adding a more premium exec experience to shoot days.

We aren’t going to waste your time or money: The guiding principle for our company is ‘Honesty above all’. That means sharing honest feedback with each other and being direct and open with our clients. Our budgets are fully itemised, so you can see exactly where your money goes. And it we don’t use the budget you’ve given us then you can put it towards another project we work on together. Finally, if we think something won’t work, we’ll tell you—and then suggest something that will, even if it’s putting your money towards something other than video production (shock, horror!)
